A Ukrainain soldier kills 2 retreating Russian soldiers with a precise grenade throw. Location/date unknown.

Do you realltly believe this was the one time this has ever happened? Most Russian people as a whole are pieces of shit, but at the end of the day they are still people. Humanity shines through in the worst places and it's always been that way all throughout history. It's hard to separate it all from their government and the war crimes but in an operation this large you're bound to have thousands of terrified peasants plucked off of the street with little to minimal training desperate to stay alive. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that some of these people would die dragging their comrades to safety. Let's try to have a little nuance and remember that this is all happening on a massive scale and VERY little of the entire picture makes it onto reddit.
