Right because a comparison to another world war breaking out in Europe is not at all applicable here.

Because there is no chance of a "world war". Russia is a weak declining regional power that poses no real threat to us. There is basically 0 chance of any further Eastern European countries joining EU because some of the previous ones still can't be cleansed of corruption, chauvinism, and racism, which poison the whole of EU already.

And there is no way any further Eastern European countries will be invited into NATO after the hissy fit Russia is throwing now, regardless of the actual conflict taking place or not.

If anything, what I can see in our own media, the US is pressuring currently Finland and Sweden to join by pumping panic in media. There Russia can do nothing. Ukraine is not a subject for us in what's going on now.
