CCP shills exploit any unrelated japanese social problem to spread anti-japanese propaganda. You can easily spot the difference between people who are earnestly expressing their concern about the jingoism vs the anti-japanese propagandists. That guy was clearly the latter.

Notice how I don't come after any other commenter in this entire thread for their CCP ties except for that 1 guy I responded to above. Because I recognize that there are foreigners who are genuinely confused and concerned when they hear about how "respectful" japanese culture is only to find out it's not "respectful", it's autistic and xenophobic like this Ukrainian woman unfortunately experienced first hand.

Japanese people know that they were the bad guys in WWII. Yeah I realize most of the discourse is focused on the Hiroshima victim complex without an adequate (for my taste and evidently for yours) amount of context explaining why they're the only country to ever be nuked. Had to be pretty damn evil to be the only country to ever be nuked.

I will however not stop pointing out disingenuous anti-Japanese sentiments when they're clearly motivated by CCP ties or anti-American-imperialist sentiments (aka communist cosplayers). I know that Japan doesn't do a good enough job of acknowledge what they did to Chinese people. But Chinese people don't do a good enough job of acknowledging what Chinese people did (and are currently doing) to Chinese people so when I can sniff out a CCP shill I'm gonna let em have it.
