Ukrainian women sheltering in London, Ont., say they were asked by the host if they wanted to do sex work

This is the case for me. I'm a married mother in my 30s, we have 2 incomes, we live in one of the most affordable cities in the country, in government owned housing, but we've hit the point where we have spent our savings on groceries and emergencies and we're about to start majorly falling behind. Looking at a financial deficit of $600/month or so. My spouse is about to go back to school so we can make more money, but that means living on LESS money in the meantime. And like, I've done our finances, we are extremely frugal, we only spend about $100/month on things you would not consider the bare necessities. We don't smoke or drink. Have 1 car, a Corolla. It's madness.

So I am strongly considering going back to sex work. I used to do it when we were super poor back in the day, so it's always been on the back burner as something I can do if shit REALLY hits the fan. And apparently it has. It deeply saddens me, but it is what it is. We need the money.
