Ulta is ridiculously easy.

Former Ulta Manager~ Ulta rarely/never has LP. They're usually understaffed so there's typically nobody watching the cameras except maybe someone on their lunch break. They have to see you actually conceal an item (like most retail stores). The aisle that doesn't have any cameras for some reason is the tanning/sunblock area that is usually near the fragrance. The shampoo section (Pro Hair) is rarely watched because they rely on the salon to help with that area. The cheaper makeup section is also rarely looked at because most of their attention is on the prestige area (Urban Decay, Tarte, etc). The best route to go is to grab and plant in areas out of camera view then return at another time IMO. That would give you an idea if they were on to you. NEVER go in looking under par. You will stick out majorly. The people that never really had any trouble are people in scrubs (medical field employees) and people that are dressed nicely. It's not a bad idea to wear this when regularly lifting other places actually. Also, it definitely looks better when you actually pay for something. Set up a fake account under a false address/name/phone number. They don't check ID's. Even if you buy a bag of cotton balls, when the person that was acting suspicious went to the register, the attention was typically dropped right then because it looked like they were actually buying their items. If you guys have any more questions I'll be happy to answer
