Two tiers below DK? Two tiers below MetaKnight who’s still arguable overnerfed from Brawl?

There’s a lot to unpack here, but she’s a worse character than both of these examples easily. DK has a good range, solid frame data, excellent grab game, and as with most heavies benefits greatly from Ultimate’s new engine, jump squat mechanics, and nerfs to shield. MK being overnerfed from Brawl is... an interesting take when he was considered top 15 at one point in smash 4 and the general consensus on the nerfs he received going into Ultimate is that he wasn’t even hit that hard. Good aerial combo game, excellent mobility and recovery, good range, and reasonable kill options.

What in your mind does Bayonetta have that is so good that she’s better than either of these characters?
