The (Un)Official /r/YuGiOh Highlander Tournament: Part 1 - Ground Rules and Sign Ups

Okay so here's my list: -Number 16: Shock Master: It essentially stuns your opponent from doing anything you don't want them to do while you whack away their lifepoints for 3 turns. In this format whoever got this out would have a major advantage, and since it's generic anyone could use it. -Harpie's feather duster: whoever draws this first essentially gets protection from everything and makes the opponent have nothing to defend themselves with. Unlike heavy storm and giant trunade it only affects the opponent which is seriously unfair for them, plus it's costless.

-All the elemental dragon rules except redox: Alright so this one is debateable, but i feel as if they should all be banned except redox. The reason why is because at 1 every dragon ruler was still incredibly powerful. tempest, blaster, and tidal all were primarily used in the new-age dragon rulers/hieratic dragons as well as redox, but i'll talk about him in a second. each one of those weren't really primarily used in any other deck besides a dragon or mill deck. Now redox (although it was used in the dragon decks) was used in pretty much any machine deck or anything that ran earth, it has the lowest stats out of all the rulers (except it's massive defense) and was never really used for fighting, just as a piece to get into rank 7's or for defense. decks i can name off the top of my head that used this were karakuri, machina, geargia, plants, sylvans, and psychics (i think). meaning that he was the least powerful, but most versatile in a lot of other decks. If you decide against this then i think that there should be a rule that says the dragons should be limited to one of each in a deck (ex. a deck cannot run both blaster and tidal, but can run tidal and no other rulers)

-Metamorphosis: You basically can summon literally any fusion monster in the game that you want without needing it's materials. Due to the 60 cards that means a deck will have a lot of different levels and different fusions it could go into at any time they wanted to when they drew this card.

-Makyura the Destructor: Not entirely sure on this one, but i think it's best to have it banned due to it's shenanigans. if your opponent is playing something like exodia with a ton of draw cards (idek if thats possible with 60 though) you can just repeatedly activate trap cards that let you draw over and over and over again which kind of defeats the purpose of traps.

-Magical Scientist: Not entirely sure on this one either, but you can go into a rank 6 for 2000 lifepoints with 2 materials, plus you can still get some more fusions if you want as well which seems like it might cause some trouble.
