Did you check your polling location though? I'm from a small town in Andhra and usually the polling location is the nearest fo government school. When I went to the nearest one, people asked for my beginning 2 numbers of my door number and told me that my polling location would the other school that's also nearby. I went there and there were people holding books.. I searched for my serial number online and gave them the serial number. They wrote a slip for me and I took the slip, voter ID inside to vote. I'm 99% sure it works the same way everywhere. So are you sure you went to the right polling spot and checked with multiple people before confirming that your name is at that location you went to?
