As someone who has had to sit with a trainwreck of a “win” today and a super bowl loss by 10 I empathize so strongly with you. It’s just such an insanely helpless feeling. You can’t trust games anymore. The 4th quarter is a nightmare. And you know it’s probably better to go outside and do something else (safely of course) but of course you won’t. It’s hard wired to go back and keep watching. Because you’re like “F it, all of these awful losses are going to pay off 10 fold. And I will get to say I got to see all of it through the good and the bad.”

And then it’s just bad. It’s just a car crash.

But as I’m sure you feel right now. You’ll be here next week. Hopefully with more comfort for yourself lol.
