Yesterday at around 5:30pm our colleagues (from the Police, Anmd du Ü) observed in the Tiergarten (akin to Central Park, only waay smaller) a drugdealer with an outstanding warrant and pursued him with the intent to arrest him. The suspect was shouted at to stop, but run away in the direction of the Bundestagsufer.

One of our pursuing colleagues on foot raised his chances of catching him, when he arrived at a intersection and commanded a citizen and took his bike. Pushing into the pedals of the womens bike, he and his partner on foot tired the supsect and finally the could arrest him.

The bike that was called into the police force couldn't be given back to owner immediately since the citizen wasn't at the place of the arrest and is now waiting a department 33 for his owner. Whoever feels called by this description as the helpful "bike sponsor", should call the Police at dept. 33 to receive his trusty vehicle back.
