[The Undefeated]Being Muslim in the NBA. Interesting insights from Olajuwon, Kanter, Abdul-Rauf, and more

You can do that for kind of cherry picking for literally any religion though. Look at all the white christian hate groups like the KKK etc, or Christian pastors out there starting new churches ever day and calling for a reawakening or revival. Look at the Buddhist monks in Burma calling for and encouraging genocide against Muslims. It’s anecdotal and doesn’t firmly prove anything.

False equivalency. Nothing in the Christian doctrine or Buddhist doctrine calls for the murder of black people or the murder of Muslims. Too top things off the KKK were fuckin anti-Catholic. Catholics are the largest sect of Christians on earth. That literally makes them anti Christian group because most Christians on this planet are Catholic. Compare that to ISIS who are Sunni jihadists(Sunni's are the largest sect of Muslims in the world).

And it doesn’t at all address my earlier point about violence by Muslims having much more to do with their economic and geopolitical situations rather than anything inherent about their faith.

Nobody is denying the middle is a reck right now and is accelerating extremism immensely but that still doesn't explain why the Quran has around 109 verses of violence. Not 20 or even 50 but 109.
