Under-eye Creasing

Try setting it with one of the 2 powders...

Most expensive: Laura Mercier Secret brightening powder (department stores/sephora) It comes in 2 shades, one more cool, the other more warm & it's really well milled, super soft light powder. It doesn't crease no matter how much you use. It's a small container though & it will set you back around 30+ dollars.

Least expensive: Cornsilk powder by Coty (any mass store)
I know we all remember this stuff, it used to come in a paper type/hard card stock round container with the worst sifter imaginable. The container had a pattern of what looked like cotton puffs on the exterior in gold/ivory & brown. And it doesn't have many shades either, though they have added a few. The choices used to be translucent & translucent...lol

In recent years they've added a few more, but if your skin tone isn't too dark, then translucent extra coverage is for you. The texture is as light & airy as the Laura Mercier & does not settle into lines. It's really great stuff. Thank god they changed the container. It's no longer paper-ish, but plastic, with a sifter that actually works. After applying my concealer I use a MAC pro brush, I can't recall the #, but it's like a triple the size version of a Mac eye contour brush, to powder under my eye. I'm 42 years old & have NEVER had it crease or settle into lines on me.

The container lasts forever & you can pick it up for around 6 bucks. It's easily 10-15 times as much product as the Laura Mercier & works just as well.

If you can get past the smell, which is the scent of the original, violets. It's not terrible & it does fade quite quickly. It's not like you have to smell violet on your face all day. For a product that's been around since the 1920's, this is as good as they come for value/performance.
