1. The assertion that they raped millions of people is obviously asinine. MILLIONS of people? For an army to rape millions of people either the majority of soldiers have to be raping left and right, or every soldier has to rape at least one person. The claim is absurd.
2. The notion that rape is something the soviets did is also absurd. You can find equal amounts of stories of US soldiers raping Germans, and even raping Soviet women while in nazi occupied soviet states, despite the soviets being our allies. So to try to somehow create some parallel between the soviets and rape is clearly ideological and not grounded in reality.

Were there Soviet soldiers raping German women? Yes. But does that have anything to do with the ideology the Soviet Union espoused, or somehow make them equally as bad as nazis? Absolutely not.

Rape is something that happens in every war. Just a sad reality. The US has military bases all over the world, and US soldiers go around raping all sorts of people to this day. In countries we’re not in conflict with. (Not that being in conflict with a country justifies soldiers raping)
