Under-promise, over-deliver. Hats off to FM, they told me 6-8 miles and I consistently get 12-15 without trying. This is after a 7 mile carve session up/down hills starting and ending at my house.

After you get used to riding it, pump the tire up to 20psi. The higher pressure noticably increased range for me, but it is a bumpier and less stable ride. I'd try higher, but that voids the warranty. Rode 14.5 kilometers today with 17% left on mostly paved trails, but some gravel, loose sand, and hard packed dirt with a couple decent hills, and nothing flat. I weigh 81.6 kilograms, and was getting 12.9 - 16.1 kilometers to empty at stock pressure, relatively flat, paved surfaces. If you're going for distance avoid grass, it kills range.
