Thanks. I'm definitely not knowledgeable about this, but am trying to learn more so I can better research how to move (I'm using this post as a starting point). My timing is to prepare with the next 5 - 10 years to be be able to start the process (but planning ahead right now).

Thanks for the note on the talent tiers. I'll have to research more on potential jobs in China, in my field. Do you know how to research which fields in China are high in demand / will be high in demand (I literally don't know what are decent sources to research info)?

In terms of artificial intelligence, how strict do you think the requirements will be (for example, I know some companies in the US have some tendency to hire less than qualified programmers due to talent shortage)? I currently work in corporate finance, but my MBA emphasis was on data science / statistics and I've held manager roles in analytics prior (resume has been competitive to get interest for data science manager roles too). Also top MBA program and have former Fortune 200 work experience, if that's helpful.

Are you currently doing a PhD program? And is your current plan to apply for a Z visa? What are some of the challenges you anticipate to moving over, for you personally?
