I Understand the Cool Mini or Not Backlash Now

Hi beatspores,

Apparently, you've never heard of gambling addicts, and addicts of any kind, really. Exploiting the impulses of anyone is morally wrong, and it can be to different degrees. With Kickstarter, it's certainly less morally wrong than exploiting addicts, but it should still be frowned upon.

Also, I am not forgetting that, hence the wall of text which explains how it might be a good idea, but probably isn't, imho. Also, I left out the part about having things being packaged with Kickstarter pledges, but not making them exclusive. With this option, you can appeal to both your customers that pledged beforehand by allowing them to save money, and your customers who weren't sure during the Kickstarter. The latter can still get the additions, which makes the company more money overall, without being gouged in the aftermarket. You can thus "[try] out the viability of new games", as you said, and make further and larger profits when new games actually succeed commercially and critically.
