Understanding INFP from an INTJ perspective

I find INFPs to be one of the few types that I get along with. I'll provide a pro and con list based on my experience with being friends with and dating this type:

Pro: 1. I find that my auxiliary Extroverted Thinking can balance out their inferior Extroverted Thinking when they’re stuck on making a decision, or those times when they get stuck in their feeling loops and need some objective advice. I also find that their dominant Introverted Feeling has the same effect. Although, this isn’t always the case and it depends on the context/development of this type. 2. Given that 2 of the 4 functions are different (Ni/Se vs Ne/Si), I believe that Extroverted Thinking and Introverted Feeling makes them easy to talk to. We both tend to relate on how our values should be determined, as well as the fashion of discussing values. 3. I don’t think I haven’t met an INFP that doesn’t have some kind of creative interest in art or music, which I usually find to be attractive interests. They also tend to have a lot of useful information and random facts to talk about.

Con: 1. I get annoyed with them when they’re stuck in Introverted Feeling and can’t see things objectively, and I imagine they get annoyed with my lack of Introverted Feeling at times. I’ve easily offended some INFPs because I was trying to be objective on what they consider to be "touchy subjects". 2. Sometimes the difference between Ni/Se and Ne/Si can cause conflict between these types. They often want to brainstorm and shift between topics without ever reaching closer, which I find to be either draining or wasted time in certain scenarios. I also noticed they have a tendency to get annoyed when I start talking about “future implications” of things, and when I try to narrow in on topics. 3. With them having Introverted Sensing, they tend to reflect on their past a lot and talk about how things used to be, which is very different than how I operate. Most INFPs (and even INTPs) that I’ve met find Extroverted Sensing to be shallow, annoying, and too commanding. Most of the time these types have a hard time putting themselves into action, and they’re probably more closely related to SJs than NTJs in this case. Not really futuristic people in the same sense of Ni doms. 4. Inferior Te sometimes come to weird conclusions, and they can become very defensive when their knowledge is tested. 5. I wouldn’t exactly consider myself somebody who follows the rules for the sake of it, but it really gets on my nerves when INFPs don’t know when to break the rules and when to follow them. They either use the rules incorrectly to their own advantage or they pretend they don’t exist, which is where I find most of their problems tend to stem from. 6. Sometimes they whine too much without actually doing something about it.
