hey guys...there are jobs in brunei, not many but there is! im not a degree holder or have very high education. but i can tell u this...u can try to turn things around to your advantage. do not wait for gov jobs anymore. time have changed. look at the pace the gov intend to improve, can u see the future? nothing! there are many policy they need to amend, to open up brunei so that tourism will florish. the current policy are conflicting. brunei may never see its full potential bcos of such policy. KK is a good example, they are just near us but look at how much the have improve. u think brunei can't be like KK?? actually we can and we may be able to do better then KK but the ones on top are not seeing this thats why we r still stuck here. thats the problem. unless those who sets the policy r those who have open mind and can embrace changes then we can move ahead faster. put religion aside. true bruneian respects all the other religion so no need to bring the religion card and play on the table.
About finding a job in brunei... for now u just gotta pick a job u see available or go to as many shops, company to sent your CV. if u r lucky to join any of the company u submitted your CV, work on it, stay with them at least half a year or longer if u r happy with them. dun join for one month or lesser and leave. learn the trade and the tricks of each business you join. learn how the company may exploit u, u must bare with a bit of suffering to grow. dont always MC and escape. dont always take leave. always try to comply with the company policy. make it a practise and comply. along the way, u will meet new people, your networks will grow. you may start hanging out with new friends, go along with it. along the way your repo will grow as well. will u learn to see who are the ones who will really help push u up and those who doesnt want u to grow. this are something no one can teach u in school.
With those experience u can start job hopping/searching for more suitable job which may somehow be linked to your education or your previous job(s). u can repeat this over and over but expecting a better offer each time u join another company.
its not impossible for u to be able to make 3-4k a mth, u just need to know how to do it. im without a degree but i could make 4 and sometimes 5-figure(not all the time) so why cant u???
Learn to explore, take challenge. sometimes u just need to LANGAR if u know what i mean....:)
