UNESCO votes: No connection between Temple Mount and Judaism

Jew here too, and this kind of shit is why I can't not support Israel. I have my problems with Israel. I really dislike Bibi and Likud, and am very much unhappy with how much influence the Rabbinate and other Orthodox factions have, and I certainly wouldn't move there unless I had no choice. But when the country is literally surrounded by hostile nations who refuse to recognize basic facts of history to delegitimize Israel, and who throw out constant accusations of human rights abuses over literally anything(despite their own, far far worse and more pervasive abuses rarely getting called out), I can't help but be behind Israel.

The Israeli/Palestinian conflict I think is still definitely a Grey issue, but as time goes on it becomes harder and harder to actually support the Palestinian cause or even the idea of a two - state solution. I still hope for one, but it simply doesn't seem like anyone in the area except Israel has had any genuine interest in supporting such a solution for the last 30 years. What are you supposed to do if no one is willing to make compromises, and everyone nearby is actively supporting declarations which white-wash undisputable facts? Are you still supposed to want to come to a 'compromise' that screws you over completely?
