Usually when you link an external chequing account you don't see the balance, but hey, I don't use Banque Nationale so I don't know.

It was either a glitch in retrieving the balance amount from Desjardins, or you are looking at the wrong number (like an account number or a transfer limit) and assuming it's the balance.

What is more likely, that it's just a glitch, or that your mom secretly left you hundreds of thousands of dollars you never knew about? Think logically here.

The last 4 numbers of the account that are visible are the same from my account from desjardins.
I will do a research with the bank. I just don't like to face that kind of situation without finding answer
