I'll flip it and ask why you think you're so special that only things that you know about should be referenced, particularly in a sub about an American show that itself contains countless American pop culture references over a span of 30+ years. It's just a bizarre complaint.

You know what I do when I see a reference to something going on in Europe or Australia like I do a fair amount around even this subreddit? I either take the time to research the topic or I don't care enough, so I move on to the next post.

That goes for any thread on Reddit. Not everything is relevant to you, but it's easy as scrolling until you find one that does. So please, let's stop with the complaining around here today, they're shitposts, not something that was personally written for you.
