Sigh... Honestly, anyone who's being reasonable acknowledges the economic problems. Heck there was a post on here about it listing all the problems with NI. It would need massive reform. If they, as a democracy can't make those reforms themselves then I'm not getting involved. They can step out from the UK and be there own place if that helps with reforms but we know it won't.

There's a reason you are not advocating any other increase in population for economic benefit... This is for an ego boost. People saying it's coming home are not thinking about economic benefits. You want NI cuz of the massive inferiority complex in this country.

The economic arguments were pathetic... Our GDP per capita would drop down overnight and increase tax costs and wasting effort in political reforms they haven't been bothered to make. ALL while ignoring social and political problems. That's great
