A uniquely similar question about switching careers.

Thank you very much. I will give this the thought it deserves. Don't know how I feel about the therapy part though, I'm aware of who I am and sometimes I've been obligated to get into careers until I can make it viable to chase others. Yes, I've easily worked over 100 jobs since age 16, mostly due to not wanting to waste time at a job I didn't like and being smart enough with my money to be able to walk away. I think labeling my behavior without knowing more than my post as "not normal" though is inaccurate and hurtful.

Kid by kid it gets expensive to chase passion careers vs. paying careers and I have always put them first, very much why I hate this position now. I took it for the money. Most of my education has been scholarship and grant funded so cost has never really been an issue in my decision making so not really understanding where you are getting that it's expensive to change careers. It might be here, which is why I made such a lengthy post, but otherwise I have always made good money and had a backup plan before moving on.

I am very thankful for your insight though. Sincerely, and I will put it to purposeful thought.
