united forever in friendship and labour

I probably spend more time talking to the custodial staff at my school than many other staff. Probably because they know I'm not a Trump supporter who is willing and I speak their language and teach native speaker Spanish/coach mostly immigrant soccer team/teach ESL in summer school for new arrivals academy.

However, this is not out of virtue bc it's mostly when they are vacuuming my room while I finish up. Leadership is constantly giving them props in meetings, but when I ask these guys about working conditions it is clear that we need to respect these people more by doing more than smiling and making small talk. Seems like the harder the job the more they get shit on socially. Seems like the more people exploit workers, the harder they report to be working for "their money".
