Universal Basic Income Favored in Canada.

Speaking for manufacturing here. It was because of the sudden insertion of automation which caused this to be felt the most. There are ton of jobs available in manufacturing today. However, anyone that knows the job is 50-60 years old and plus. The young generation was scared away from this work by the same people which lost a lot of jobs. Now all these jobs are coming back and we can't find CNC operators for high precision jobs for 1 year or more and have resulted to recruiting and importing immigrant workers through government programs. The problem is no young person wants to work a job as demanding and without computer/internet access haha even though it pays 25-30/hr
