Well ya that is the definition of culture appropriation. Cultural apropriation isnt a form of discrimination. It works by using your social power to take someones identity and use it for a profit. The reason no one cares about blacks with traight hair is because it doesnt remove any value from white people having straight hair. White people are not hurt by that trend there fore its not cultural appropriation. Not to mention the fact that black women having straight hair is a direct of racism causing them to act more and apear more white. But thats besides the point. A white guy having dreads is also not appropriation because blacks arent losing anything of value. There was no real value to dreds to begin with so getting up in arms about it being stolen is kind of ridiculous.
