The University of Michigan's Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity has been permanently disbanded by its parent organization for not only wrecking a northern Michigan resort but also for not stepping up and facing the music.

But new research shows that young African Americans are actually less likely to use drugs

Probably because you don't go to jail over using drugs, you go to jail for trafficking or selling drugs. If you are not a criminal with a record, you will NOT go to jail over using drugs, especially marijuana, shrooms, etc., but as a general rule, even if you're dumb enough to get caught by the police using drugs (which again, doesn't happen unless you're dumb enough to be using outside of your home), you will NOT go to jail in the United States or Canada, and I expect Europe is the same.

"Drug crimes" that actually get people sent to jail are trafficking and selling drugs, which blacks commit disproportionately.

Also, if police are racist because blacks don't use drugs more than whites and yet they get arrested more, are they sexist for arresting WAY more men than women for drug crimes, or is it for the reasons I explained above, with men being more likely to sell and traffic drugs and be involved in drug related violence.

And there are even more people alive right now who have dealt with the current systemically racist legal system.

Oh for fucks sake. The legal system is not racist. Many groups are disproportionately sent to prison, even disproportionately to the rate at which they commit these crimes. Males, non-Jews, non-Mormons, etc.

The most accurate numbers available say that blacks are about 3% more likely to be arrested for a crime they've committed than non-blacks, a number that doesn't come close to the >5 times more blacks in jail than whites when adjusting for their population size. You also didn't address how successful many black immigrant groups have been. If "the system" is so "racist", then why isn't it affecting Nigerian-Americans, or other actual African-Americans (Americans who have moved here from Africa and were not born here. If you're born in America and black, you're a black American person, not an "African-American")?

I also never said that racism "ended once slavery did," and the "plenty of people alive today that remember segregation vividly" aren't the 20 year old black males disproportionately committing crimes in neighborhoods across the country.

Stop making stupid excuses for criminals and exercising your white guilt and start trying to deal with the problem by actually rehabilitating prisoners and providing school choice so that even if kids grow up in a shitty home or in a toxic culture where the only adults they know are drug addicted or criminals, they have a good shot at success. There is nothing inherent to black males that make them more violent than others as evidenced by the success of African-Americans (again, by that I mean real African Americans born in Africa, not people who have been here for 10 generations), but there sure as hell is something wrong with the culture of a minority, but a significant minority of blacks, as there are problems in all other groups, the difference is we have the balls to tackle the problem when it exists in other groups without being labelled "racist".
