man, the kids in the digimon reboot have zero personality. where’s the whining? taichi treating everything like a game when he finds out the world is filled with data until he realises that you could actually get hurt and die in the digimon world? i know he went in knowing he’s in the digital world this time around, but i don’t expect him to suddenly be super mature and take everything seriously when he’s supposed to be a fifth grader.

and don’t get me started with sora, you could replace her with a piece of cardboard and it wouldn’t change a thing, which really makes me sad because she had the funniest dynamic with joe in the original. :(
