Unjerk Thread of July 27, 2019

I'm speaking as a black guy who dipped my toes into the alt-right rhetoric, way back when they weren't so upfront about who they really are: There's a point where you snap and realize that maybe they're not making as much sense as they'd like you to believe, that they're not being very honest, and that, well they don't really like you. Unfortunately that's not the case for everyone, and people go off the deep end.

In this guys case it might be some internalized self-loathing, maybe he's searching for approval(being one of the good ones, as you said), a sense of importance he isn't finding elsewhere(which seems to be the issue most of the time), or simply not being very "racially aware", which was my case.
