I think this sort of thing is already emergent, in that all the potentials are there, and there's a sort of widespread understanding among certain demographics of people that it needs to happen, and all that is needed is the sort of spark of it being laid out more thoroughly and convincingly, and in a way that is prone to being memetically spread more widely, and within a context that more effectively organizes and keeps the train of thought going more permanently.

I agree that people are the sources, such that if they come across a workable strategy and ideology, they can become the active agent that makes the change in their own sphere of things, and if we somehow formulated a culture which more effectively promotes individuals making changes and solutions and esteems that, we might get it to spread.

So, I feel like it is a tinder box full of potential, and yet the challenge that is faced by all comers is how to provide the right spark so that it might light up cohesively.

The actionable component, in my opinion, is just like you have said:

We essentially need to write a human program (or reddit thread) to get people to see the vision and stand behind the development of it.

We need to eloquently phrase the problem and provide vision for the potential of solutions, in such a way that it provides the spark needed for people who are already at that verge to actualize their potential inputs.

I feel like one of our biggest problems right now is all the thinkers and potential change makers in the world right now are disconnected and are like towers of babel, where we do not have a common language and understanding, and so all of our interactions fall to continually rephrasing the problems, and not going into much depth of possible solutions.

Perhaps we could provide a platform for the free association of such types, a platform which encourages more in depth thinking and individual or collective solutions, and which encourages the 'idea-sex' you have talked about.
