Unpopular opinion about Sotsu. My view of [SPOILER].

I definitely see where you're coming from, and I agree. I personally still find it a little difficult to stomach that Satoko would willingly choose to go down this route after watching all of the fragments Rika suffered through, but at that point she was already not in the right mind and it hasn't really been confirmed yet whether HS or some other entity has an influence on her, despite Irie saying she was free of it.

My main issue is that the conditions that could lead to a fragment where this whole sequel premise develops just feel really contrived. The series isn't done yet and not everything is explained, but I find it extremely difficult to believe that Shion and Mion would be so out of the picture once they went on to high school, especially Shion who intended to watch over Satoko for Satoshi, and also has prior experience with St. Lucia's.
