They'd be seriously tacky if they were purchased with real money and you bought them in the store, but they at least held some regard of acknowledgement when someone had Inclement they spent a ton of credits on it and had to grind for it and reach the rank to unlock it, like seeing someone with gold visor, there was a worry that person might actually be good, especially if they we're default MarkVb with just the visor lol

But yeah preferably 343 didn't lean into it, because it's gone too wacky and looks like a mobile game, it doesn't even fit at all, like you can make Infinite look like a lovely game cranking it at max settings at 4K but those effects drag the whole game down
