NEED? In the strictest sense - absolutely not. And when I was in my 20s, I purchased basically nothing but underwear from either Walmart or Macy’s, etc. however, ever since I switched to the more luxury brands, I can imagine going back - and it’s just behind comfort - I can hardly explain it adequately - and I’m sure there are parts of this comfort that is universal to the wearer, despite the mans size but, there is a part of me that just has to believe that the bigger you are, the more these comforts make an impact on the person. When I’m soft for example, I’m close to as big as many guys hard - many guys when soft don’t have their duck hanging over down and passed their balls rarely, if ever. But, for those who aren’t as large - now imagine if your hanging down a decent amount passed your balls - the weight of your dick is enough that if it hit your balls unrestricted, would cause a smaller degree of discomfort or outright pain - now, multiple that by 24 hrs a day, etc etc - let along those brief periods during a day when you might get hard - having more specially designed underwear that keeps these conditions in mind and prevents these issues from occurring - all while providing incredible amounts of comfort - i means, NEEDED? REQUIRED? No. But, god damn it’s beneficial.

How about this metaphor - you can watch the super bowl on your 55 inch HD 4K TV or, watch it on a 20 year old school barely 720p , prob 480p resolution using bunny years for a connection - standard def vs ultra 4K HD - do you need HD?? Noooo but god damn if it isn’t hella nice and beneficial and sought after 100% and I bet basically anyone wouldn’t want to go back to the old school way of 20-30 years ago, not willingly or not when given a choice anyways….
