Unpopular Opinion Thread

I'm convinced people who keep repeating that it took Mkhi 2 years to settle at Dortmund are either secretly salty and want him to crash at ManU or just haven't watched him regularly play in the last three seasons.

He was solid in the first season considering it was hist first time in a top-tier league and there was tremendous pressure from fans and the press constantly reminding him how he's their record transfer. He even admitted in an interview that it took a toll on him and he felt like he needed to fill those high expectations. He still scored 13 goals and got 10 assists in his first season after moving from the Ukrainian league.

The second season was just complete garbage for the whole team, it's not because of one player that Dortmund was fighting relegation, but again, being the record transfer he was the scapegoat a lot of the time. Yet, he was possibly Dortmund's best player that season and played a big role in their comeback.

The third season speaks for itself, Mkhi is generally considered to be the best player of the Bundesliga last season.

ManU is one of the richest clubs in the world and just brought in Ibra. There won't be nearly as much pressure on him since he's not even the club's biggest transfer of the summer, let alone of all time.

I seriously doubt Mkhi is gonna have a hard time adjusting at ManU, especially with Mourinho's abilities. People who keep repeating "it took him 2 years to adjust at Dortmund, he'll flop in the PL" don't know what they're talking about imo.
