Unpopular Opinions

  1. I’d hope so. However as we’ve all seen here, police can be very corrupt and desperate to pin crimes (not just in the realm of true crime but in general) on innocent people to either make revenue or close the case. Police are extremely corrupt and as a minority, we know especially what it’s like for police to be unjust. There’s a reason why lawyers tell you to stfu. Your words will only be used against you. Add to the equation a case that police are desperate to close and they don’t mind making an innocent person their collateral damage.

  2. I can agree with that.

  3. But that could be said about a lot of this sub, no? Also for highly empathetic people they may fight as hard to try to find answers and anything that could help, as hard as they would for someone they know. There are cases I have zero connection to that I feel for just as hard and had nothing to do with. It’s easy to get obsessed over a case IMO that has no clear ending or explanation which boosters that attitude....also explains the constant discussion about Maura, Asha, etc.

  • the article was an interesting read, so thank you.
