Is it unreasonable that I feel restrictions are necessary for our own protection?

I think detransitioning is financially and more importantly mentally a very deteriorating process. It can be done yes, but it can also be avoided and a child's emotional health can be protected.

Informed consent is absolutely a good measure. The change I'm talking about however is not at all imposing on consenting adults. Our youth need proper guidance and we are the ones who need to think of them. I understand very well about access problems, this doesn't concern those who have the emotional maturity for consent.

And about many countries not having clinics is a very serious problem in mine. We are still a long way from social acceptance too but its a slow, steady progress.

"if any stories from that sub are to be believed." What sub ? Sorry I'm new
