Unreleased RUSH Songs?

Yeah, that was basically it. I was at a show during the tour. The fact is, Cold Fire is, and always has been, very much a country song. Lyrically, it's very country, musically, it's not far off from modern popular country. I think Rush realized this during the recording and it was something unintentional so they just sort of had fun with it.

They've played with a few other songs in this way as well. They've done a reggae version of Working Man. Not to mention the skit re-arrangements such as the polka versions.

There is also the acoustic rendition of Resist.

On the topic of unreleased music, there are some notable introductions to songs such as Broon's Bane (released on Exit...Stage Left, as well as the longer intro to Jacob's Ladder. I've seem some interesting intros to La Villa Strangiato as well. Not to mention, some songs have their beginnings re-arranged. Check out Leave That Thing Alone. The studio version vs the various live versions. Sometimes they open on that song with synth, drums, bass, or guitar. Each time is a bit different.

They've added some of Earache My Eye (from Cheech and Chong) at the end of The Big Money and Tom Sawyer during live sets.

There is the bits of music Geddy and Neil played during Alex's stream of consciousness bits, where I think both Geddy and Neil were improvising musically as well.
