Honestly bro, I’m not really interested in a debate about the finer points of economics. If your in a place that you can focus on that, that’s good. At the end of the day it’s an idiom that captures the reality that it’s expensive to be poor. If you haven’t experienced that first hand, again, that’s good. But I don’t really care about the principles or forces that play into that phenomenon.

Perhaps if you’d have read any of the other 99% of what I wrote, you would be more cautious about pimping me about economics. Like I really don’t care because I’m merely trying to make it through each day and I just think it comes across as untactful to take time to sharpshoot a platitude. It seems like you’re looking for a chance to flex your knowledge. But I guess this is the medschool subreddit after all.
