In light of the facts, don’t you think it would be basic decency to take this post out of this subreddit so the victims are plastered all over the Internet as the bad guy? Even if the comments here support them, it just increases exposure of a false event where reality is backwards.

So PLEASE PLEASE everyone, downvote this post for the sake of the couple’s safety (since the Internet spread of misinformation has caused their lives to be in danger in real life and the less slanderous titles of their predicament, the less negative attention they will get. They currently have to run from one place to another just to stay safe from people who have already made up their mind because of titles like this and are chasing them around Michigan with insane death threats.
