Untreated Dyspraxia

It depends on how you age, some people will stay the level of fitness of there younger days and some won’t. I know other people with dyspraxia and other learning difficulties and not one is the same. You more liable to more confident when older as you know how to to handle your dyspraxia to some degree but if you come age where there is a lot of stress and uncertainty it can get worse. My assessor was pointing out that at 32 my dyspraxia could be more difficult to handle as I get older because I already knew what my weaknesses were and how to avoid them. Unless I have severe symptoms there is no support outside of university for me unless I pay for it and I don’t have that money. Honestly I personally believe it’s about the people and the environment you are in. Maybe it’s just me but since I started university 2 years ago I just find everything so challenging, even things I thought i was ok with. My assessor didn’t do much just test after test but no coping strategies . She just diagnosed me again as the university wanted proof i needed extra support cost me about £400. I don’t know whether that’s a good price or not.
