Upcycled Computers for low income families.

UPCYCLED COMPUTERS FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES AND STUDENTS.

How it works:

  1. Businesses and individuals donated their outdated or unwanted computers and related technology devices to us, we pick up.

  2. The equipment is cleaned, and refurbished into usable systems by individuals who are learning a job skill.

  3. Items that are unusable will be recycled with the proceeds of the recycling used to offset the cost of any new parts required for a project.

  4. Refurbished systems are offered to low income individuals at the out of pocket cost of the parts, if any. We plan to keep our systems free or no more than 25.00 per computer. (to cover, costs)

  5. General public and non-profit organizations can purchase refurbished systems at our cost.

  6. Disadvantaged Families with children who need a computer system for their home can sign-up or be recommended by an agency to receive a free computer system based on need and availability.

Advantages:

Provides needed job skills for those trying to improve themselves. Rebuilds our communities by opening up job opportunities that are only accessible through the use of technology.

Restores our world by reducing landfill waste and pollution caused by the improper disposal of technology equipment.

Instills hope for our future by providing low income families with the equipment their children need to be functional in todays world.
