Update: 150lbs lost in 6.5 months, 378 → 228

I saw your reply from earlier today before a mod (thankfully) removed it, and I was flabbergasted at how demeaning and vindictive it was. I've browsed your profile activity a little more, and I have some helpful suggestions which I hope you'll take to heart for any future instances when you engage with others about weight loss:

  1. I'm very sorry for your past trauma, but it's important that you realize that this does not grant you permission to visit toxic and narcissistic abuse on others.
  2. You need to stop gratuitously wallowing in every health problem (whether biomedical or psychosocial) that you may have. You need to realise that you're not special (to the point of being superior over others); to take control of your life; to practice some self-improvement; and to build an identity that does not constantly revolve around these negative bases.
  3. You're 40, an adult, so you have no reason for behaving like a disrespectful and egocentric child. You need to exercise a modicum of patience and restraint, especially when engaging with people with whom you disagree. Importantly, a given moment of strong disagreement doesn't serve as a carte blanche to victimise and demean others to your satisfaction, such as your comment that:

You're patting yourself on the back right now for being a normal human being because you let yourself get into a place where you were a sedentary rock who probably thought it was difficult and inconvenient to go take a piss. So now you think walking is 'exercise'.

I hope you find the help you need.
