I just wanted to say thanks to u/UsuallySunny and u/Cosmos7 for giving me advice and answeriling all my questions about whatever I could come up with. You guys gave me full answers and took time out of your day. I really appreciate it.
That said, I spent about a week looking up statue after statue to try and craft a moderate defense for myself vs the ticket. In that week, I couldn't find a decent defense, and so I had decided to just get some documentation of the Urgent Care Visit, and my girlfriends medical record and ask for some leniency.
Swear court started at 8:30. Had arrived there at 8:15 hoping to talk the Officer beforehand about lessing the ticket to around 84mph so I could qualify for traffic school. Unfortunatley wasn't able to find him. When I walked into the courthouse it was 8:27. Look at the dossier up on the wall, and look and behold it started at 8am. Fuck me right?
Walked into the courthouse, and people gave me some eyebrows. Sat down right as my name was called.
Judge," ApollosSin". "Here."
Judge,"Officer *********"
.....
Judge,"Case Dismissed"
Walked out of there with laughing with a cheesy ass grin on my face. Today is a good day.
