Update on the poisoning cousin - hospital bills paid

Two things:

First, the way it was written leads one to assume cooking is this person's job. So no, it's not an imposition to ask someone to do their job.

Second, if they are a home cook, it is their obligation to inform guests if they are refusing to cook too their dietary restrictions so that their guests can choose for themselves. It's not an imposition to make an informed decision about the products that enter your body. If they didn't want to cook a meat free meal, all they would have to do is tell their guests as much.

Think of it this way, you ask me for tea. I know you're a recovering alcoholic, but I think that's pussy-ass weak shit, and I'm tired of you imposing stupid restrictions on my drink-making by insisting on being alcohol-free. So I make you a long-island ice tea and give it to you. It's no different from that. We all have the right to decide which substances enter our bodies. Full stop.
