Update re: Ex-employee who brought mom to work

1) I do plan on deleting these posts after a day or two along with this account.

2) I don't believe it's over either, but she doesn't really have a leg to stand on so I'm not scared. Our company has lawyers on retainer. I'm just not worried about it at all. What's done is done.

3) Everything is documented and everyone has a protocol to follow in case she tries anything else.

4) There's nothing the DOL can do for her. Seriously. She quit on her own and she doesn't have proof of any wrongdoing on our part. If she did, she should have given it to us. But since she didn't, there's not going to be much they can do for her. We didn't break a single Labor law. EEOC can't do anything either, she's not being discriminated against or anything like that. If anything, she's the one who made the racist comments so that won't look good for her. Worst case scenario, she gets a lawyer and we refuse to settle (since we can prove that she was the one in the wrong) and I get a few days off work so I can hang out at court.
