Players actually will regularly riot and smash up maps they don't like (RIP Ceres).

And I think there are different levels of frustration from something you don't like happening without a vote, and having three votes to stop something you don't like it and having it happen anyway.

If sawrge was a paradise admin and nuked the server because the community voted over and over to reject adding Vulpakin and Fox then added them anyway the front page would be full of people screaming he is a hero.

Either way though, he's getting a ban, because he expressed that frustration poorly. I just don't think said frustration was completely without merit.
