Upward mobility. Capitalism vs socialism.

Statistically and historically an American will be roughly in the same economic place as their parents throughout their life.

At least the US has upward mobility, meanwhile in Europe the differences between high-school educated and university educated are so small it is just not worth wasting 4 years out of your most important years in college.

After graduation you will be spending €1500/month on some shitty interwar house/apartment in the private sector that is so badly isolated you have to throw another €300 a month just to prevent freezing from death.

Meanwhile the highschool dropout pays €500/month to live in brand new social housing that is isolated according to the latest standards.
