[USA-MI]Can any new employer check if you have a pending record.

Just giving a quick update. Some people like to hear results or the end conclusion. I finally got a job, passed the background check and everything i start Aug 5th. and also got a temp job working that until both collide or can't any more.

Since I'm still in the courts and contesting everything. lol i got that state to give me court hearing about the denial of benefits because of the pending case. Their reasoning is that i admitted to them i had it which i wouldn't and stated i was pulled over from mixing prescription that was mine in a bottle. Its just little over a year mark for it at the time. Also stated i got it from a classmate the year prior, hahaha that was the lie they were going to use to help me with the case.

Not trying to bug you or anything. I am and forever a good worker, just in a some town i didn't like and tried to transfer several times. I isolated myself because they were picking at anything they could to give me a write up. Highly unlikely but i think the nurse manager head it out for me, she had some choice words to say to me over the years. She pulled my records and called HR over a year later. Which i didn't see coming, during that time i stopped giving any information over the case. My grandmother died during that time and i was only out of building to talk to her and my mother (when i got caught by the police) small town and those cops know me and my car by heart. It wasn't until i filed a hipaa investigation that monday and by friday i was fired. no signing of a release, no reasoning, nothing. Until weeks later after i finally got the Head of HR to review my case and found out our local HR had wrote nothing inside my investigation in when i decided to tell my story and some illegal activity about them, which i finally got that ball rolling.

Main issue was for over 8 weeks or more i was with out a job and pay and had 3 close people die during that time and it was mourn or fight back. Choose to fight back. Took countless days and apps to finally get a interview but hopefully this is light at the end of the tunnel
