Back when Greenwald first talked about this project, so I think about March/April last year, I quickly went out and read the book, not thinking to myself it would be so many months before more action might take place. I’d previously read The Eighth Dwarf and Chinaman’s Chance off the DD bookclub recommendations, thought they were strong books but Briarpatch really does stand out against those in terms of quality. So after all the updates and news I’m really excited to see this project coming to fruition. Obviously there’s another whole leap between production and reception, but this is a small glimpse of inception to production and that’s really exciting.
