[USA][OC] Running a 4 way stop at full speed

Oh, is that why stop signs and traffic laws exist? I thought they were so people could comment on /r/roadcam about how a 100% full by-the-book stop wasn't made and completely disregard the asshole who DEFINITELY didn't have any time to react to a pedestrian or anyone else using the intersection, assuming he'd react at all as he ran that stop sign at full speed. (It's kind of hard to see given the video resolution, but the look on the guy's face as he drove by didn't exactly scream awareness of the situation. I'm not entirely sure he knew he was driving a car at that moment).

I was sure the crosswalk in front of the white pickup was clear before moving forward, as well as any other nit-picky thing you might point out. Don't you worry about that. Remember, I'm the guy who maybe didn't do a 100% perfect by-the-book stop, but somehow managed to react in plenty of time to the truly reckless driver in this situation. Do you really not see the difference?
